INVITE A KIND OF DEATH
by CBomba
Dia de los Muertos, Hollywood Forever Cemetery
Invite a kind of death, rebirth, renewal,
change. In much of our dying we live.
In much of death we renew ourselves.
Are we not a part
of something else, that also needs to
live, to die, to change?
Impressive web site, Chris. I imagine your father an independent thinker who invited a kind of death on a regular basis for his kids. : ) You make him accessible in what may be a less formidable way. I liked this poem and the one about learning from ourselves first, since some of my favorite people have experienced alienation from or loss of parents and authority figures early on in their lives and wily, nily, had no other choice. Like the photos, too. Good luck with this…
